The Opportunity
Southern New Hampshire University is looking for faculty to teach in our General Education courses specifically in the area of Social Justice. Our online faculty provide high-quality academic experiences and supports students as they work toward their educational goals. Online faculty members work collaboratively in a supportive academic environment, partnering with student advising and the academic team to ensure that each student has the support and resources they need to be successful.
Currently seeking instructors for the following courses:
- IDS-105 Cultural Awarness in Online Learning
- IDS-410 Problem Solving for Social Change
- IDS-405 Civic Responsibility for Social Change
- SCS-210 Social Sciences and Humanity
- SCS-260 Social Issues and Decision Making
You’ll Get To:
- Provide a high level of student outreach and connect with students, academic advisors and team leads on a frequent basis to ensure student success
- Be engaging, offering an increased and creative presence
- Provide student feedback and offer a quick turnaround on grades
What we’re Looking For:
- A minimum of a Masters in subject areas such as Interdisciplinary Studies, Cultural Studies, Sociology, Psychology, Humanities, Social Sciences or a similar degree.
- At least one-year teaching experience working with early learners.
- One year of Industry experience required
- Work within the community to support social change
Compensation:
The standard compensation for courses is $2,200 per 8-week undergraduate course.
Undergraduate adjuncts are paid bi-weekly and are considered W-2 employees of Southern NH University.
