Development Engineer – Vehicle Dynamics Handling id-1133
As part of the Vehicle Engineering team, the junior Engineer will be report to the lead attribute engineer and assist with testing and implementing a wide variety of performance characterization and project milestones within a variety of programs with the aim to support the Program Manager in driving products to customer launch. Chassis hardware development across all vehicle variants. Assist objective characterization, metric development and KPI’s and data correlation between subjective and objective. Clearly communicate findings in a timely manner and create recovery strategies where required. Drive Change implementation and meet timing goals while maintaining flexibility. Participate in design, program launch and technical design reviews and provide supported feedback to Program Manager.
Job Qualifications
1-2+ years proven vehicle development with both data and subjective evaluations
Demonstrate experience with tire, damper, bushing, wheel and other suspension component development
Expertise in performance vehicle drive and tuning, with a desire for excellence
Experience working in a complex, dynamic and fast-paced environment
