Role Overview🚀

As the Customer Support Lead, you will play a crucial role in our company's mission by overseeing and managing our customer support operations. You will be responsible for providing excellent, white glove service to our creators, identifying trends in creator pain-points and requests and relaying this back to our internal product team, and focusing on creating systems to scale our Support team. This role requires a deep understanding of the creator economy and the ability to empathize with the unique challenges and needs of content creators, all while having a desire to problem-solve and create efficiencies in our customer experience as we scale.

Responsibilities 

  • Lead the customer support team, including training and performance management of support agents.
  • Develop and maintain customer support policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated customer inquiries or complaints, effectively resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product management and engineering, to communicate customer feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor customer support metrics, including response times, resolution rates, customer satisfaction scores, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze customer support data and trends to identify patterns, recommend process improvements, and drive customer-centric initiatives.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the creator economy to continuously enhance the customer support experience.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the customer support team, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Qualifications 📝

  • Previous experience (3+ years) in a customer support or customer service role, preferably in a tech startup or creator economy-related company.
  • Proven experience in building systems that scale, while leading and managing a customer support team (including hiring, training, and performance management).
  • In-depth knowledge of the creator economy, including familiarity with content creation platforms, monetization strategies, and community building.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize with customers and deliver clear and concise responses.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a focus on finding innovative solutions to customer issues.
  • Analytical mindset and the ability to leverage customer support data to drive insights and improvements.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment with evolving priorities.
  • Passion for customer success and a genuine interest in helping creators achieve their goals.
