Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled GM Certified Service Technician to join our team. As a Certified Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles. You will work with a team of professionals to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Examine the assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Communicate with the service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if the work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Understands keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
• Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Reports any safety issues immediately to management

Qualifications:

• GM certification is a plus.
• Previous experience as a service technician in a dealership or automotive service center.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
