ABOUT USThe Partnership for Los Angeles Schools is looking for courageous and mission-driven teachers who inspire all students to see and realize their own brilliance and limitless potential.
Launched in 2007, the Partnership is a nonprofit organization that serves 13,550 students across 20 schools in the LA Unified School District (LAUSD). The Partnership is one of the largest, in-district public school transformation organizations in the U.S. We are not a charter organization, Partnership schools are LAUSD schools, so teachers earn the same competitive pay, benefits, and UTLA membership as in any LAUSD school, AND there are lots of opportunities to earn extra!

As a Partnership teacher, you will inspire students, collaborate with peers across our network and grow professionally through leadership opportunities. We recognize that to be an effective teacher, you need support. We offer the following:

Professional development opportunities in Literacy, Math, and Restorative Justice, above and beyond what is offered by LAUSD
Peer observation, feedback, and other support from teacher leaders within the school

Partnership network of staff support in various aspects from math and literacy coaching, family and community engagement programs, and operations support

ABOUT YOU

You hold or will soon hold a California Teaching Credential or you are a current substitute or an LA Unified Teacher Assistant or Aide who has a Bachelor's degree
You have a deep respect and love for the students and families within our communities, which are predominantly Black/African American and Latinx
You believe in the Partnership's mission to transform schools to revolutionize school systems, empowering all students with a high-quality education

You actively promote and act in ways that are anti-racist and foster a culture of diversity, equity, including, and belonging in and out of your classroom

BENEFITS

National Board Certification salary increase of up to 15%: LAUSD pays teachers who hold National Board Certification up to 15% more than base salary: 7.5% in recognition of the certification and 7.5% upon completion of 92 hours of professional duties outside the normal duties and hours.
Additional paid opportunities, paid planning time, and reimbursement for relocation costs for qualified expenses are available through the Partnership.
District-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for you, your spouse or domestic partner, and dependents (approx. $16,000 value)

Salary table for preliminary and clear credential holders (salaries start at $66,313)
Salary table for teachers with Alternative Credentials (salaries start at $57,814)
